Aeon: A team of scientists discover an ancient sphere deep under the Earth. Without warning, the entrance to the sphere closes and the sphere takes off with 24 screaming men and women inside. The sphere heads straight for a small moon orbiting the planet Jupiter. Hours later they find themselves inside, but it is not a moon but an ancient ship that has been in orbit around Jupiter for a million years or more. Alien species, collected by the long dead crew, have been evolving. The humans learn to their horror that the return of the sphere has activated a command that will take the massive ship out of Earth’s solar system. The rogue computer now see in the humans much of its masters, and is determine to re-establish their species as close to its home world as possible.
